TESTING FEES and CANCELLATION POLICY

PRACTICAL TEST EXCLUDING INITIAL CFI $2000*

CFI INITIAL TEST $3000* 

DISAPPROVAL/DISCONTINUANCE FROM ME $1000 Note we will always start the ground regardless of weather. 

DISCONTINUANCE OR DISAPPROVAL FROM ANOTHER DPE FLIGHT ONLY $1000* CFI INITIAL $2000

DISCONTINUANCE OR DISAPPROVAL FROM ANOTHER DPE FLIGHT AND GROUND- $2000* CFI INITIAL $3000

*Some flight schools have flat rates for all DPE's. This could potentially result in you being billed higher or lower then my standard rates. Some schools or instructors may try and give you the impression you do not have a choice when it comes to your DPE. You absolutely have a choice. There are examiners with lower fees then I have set, there are also examiners with higher fees.

2. Credit Card Note there is a 5% Fee for this option. Click this Link If paying by credit card, please make payment prior to the test to ensure approval prior to test time. 

Cancellation Policy Short notice cancellations prevent me from conducting a test and earning an income. Please respect that and provide appropriate notice. If you don't feel ready for the exam or aren't feeling well, please do us both a favor and cancel ahead of time to prevent a fee. Please understand if the weather is not looking good we will still start the oral portion. The following fees will apply. 

Within 1 Calendar day or day of- $1500

Within 2 Calendar days-$500

Outside 3 Calendar days-No charge, however notify me as soon as you know you will need to reschedule. 

EXAMPLE:

If you have an exam scheduled with me on Friday, unless you notify me by Tuesday, a fee will be charged. If I am able to find a new applicant to fill your canceled slot appointment, I will not charge you a fee.
