Thanks for taking the time to review my background. Like most of us I've been attracted to aviation from a very young age. It's hard to look up as an airplane passes overhead and not get excited. Prior to becoming a pilot, I was in the Navy for 12 years working in Nuclear Power and Nuclear Medicine. I spent 5 years on an aircraft carrier and there wasn't a day that went by during deployments that I didn't go topside to watch the fighter pilots takeoff and land on a floating runway. If landing a fighter jet in the middle of the ocean is not impressive, I don't know what is! After I left the military I attended Arizona State University to obtain my pilot and instructor qualifications. I instructed for several years at CAE in Mesa Arizona, and flew at the airlines for a couple years before becoming a DPE. I now work full time as a DPE.
