MEET YOUR EXAMINER

  • Thanks for taking the time to review my background. I was passionate about aviation from a very young age. My father was in the Navy and I was always fascinated by the jets flying over our house on base. Prior to becoming a pilot, I was in the Navy for 12 years working in Nuclear Power and Nuclear Medicine. I spent 5 years on an aircraft carrier and there was not a day that went by during deployments that I didn't go topside to  watch the fighter jets takeoff and land on our floating runway. If landing a fighter jet in the middle of the ocean is not impressive, I don't know what is! After I left the military, I attended Arizona State University to obtain my pilot and instructor qualifications.  I currently fly for Southwest Airlines and am a part-time DPE. I look forward to flying with you and being a part of your journey towards being the best pilot you can be.
